Very clean and peaceful park for recreating. Whether it be fishing, picnicking, or, just a peaceful walk in nature, you'll find it here at Greenwich. The park is teeming with wildlife as well. We saw Herons (or some other crane bird), turtles galore, and a Northern Water Snake who came right up to us to say hello. 😯 As a fisherman, I've never had much luck with this lake and those closer to me report the same. Take that as you will. Enjoy!

The fishing at Greenwich lake park is very good. It's stocked with trout and has plenty of bass, snakeheads and even bowfin. But it's gets fished hard and you have to put your work in and pay your dues. Small boat/ kayak/ and canoe friendly. There's the lake, a couple small ponds, and a lot of little tributaries and canals to fish and offers many different fishing scenarios.... can't be scared of snakes

I had a great day fishing here about a month ago for the first time coming to this wetland area I came to fish for trout & caught 2 of them & was also able to catch 2 blue gills & a little largemouth bass! I love how many areas of water there are to fish so many options it’s now my favorite place to fish in nj so far I love it here! 👍🏻🎣

great spot for a nice walk (with our without your 4-legged buddy! tho I'm told dogs are not allowed... missed that notice😉) This appears to be a fishing hot spot! There's a paved road along and around the water/river as well as unpaved paths, a boat ramp (was closed due to flooding), benches along the water & there's even a shaded picnic area with a bbq grill! OH! & a port-o-pot!!! Plenty of parking/large parking area out front. Just be mindful while walking through the unpaved areas as it is TICK SEASON! & they are definitely out there!!! take precautions &...

Very well kept. Extremely hard to fish if you're going for bass. Just my opinion. If you are going for bowfin, it's a brutally easy spot. Better get there early though as the kids have the bridge early. Other spots are good though.

I've seen an 8.5 pound bass pulled out of there by a woman using a surf rod and nightcrawlers. Absolute insanity. I have also spent 6 hours there and caught nothing. Lots of pressure. If you're looking to chill with the family though, pretty place. Always...
