Beautiful place - we had a nice time with our family today. 4 stars because the kids play trail was overgrown and not well kept. We were a bit disappointed and pictures are misleading. Slides with pools of standing water (just drill a hole?). A fun water pump to play in but no step stool or buckets to play with. Marimba missing mallet. Etc. Not trying to be harsh but these are pretty easy fixes. That being said the kids play area in the nature center was wonderfully kept and the kids had a great time in there. All in all a great place to spend some time outdoors. Super nice staff...

First visit checking out the place, only walked (and talked) with a friend to catch up on things while enjoying nature - haven't yet done any tours or events yet, and have yet to step into the center, but I'm excited to come back and check it out. The place is beautiful! I'm glad to have something close-by to visit to break up the monotony.

Pic I have is a bit too far away for the subject I wanted to concentrate on, but on the rock is a turtle who had been there the entire visit, sticking out his head every once in a while for meals. Looking forward to getting to...

This is an excellent place to take groups to visit and tour. I went to this place as part of a school sponsored trip for elementary students. The staff and volunteers did a superb job of engaging the students and the students loved the hiking and exploration (both indoor and outdoor) activities that were planned for them. I strongly encourage anyone who is looking for an outdoor nature exploration experience for a group of kids to include this place as one of the...

A beautiful place to go alone or with friends and family, to enjoy the trails, the plant life, wild life, and to learn about local birds and animals. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and there are events here year-round people can participate in -- like bird counts, the fall hawk watch, bird walks, and others. Kids also take field trips here from schools in the area. This place is just all-around wholesome and beneficial to the community!!!

Great trails, beautiful birds, foliage is beautiful. Gorgeous oak and maple trees to appreciate as well as lakes and a waterfall. Well marked and maintained trails. Welcome Center is Beautiful, and staffed with wonderful people. Guided tours are available. Great for children and adults. There are some moderately steep hills on the trails, but definitely manageable for most, I would say. I think it's great!
