Montgomery Pinetum Park is a 125-acre park located in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich. The park is home to a variety of trees, including pines, hemlocks, oaks, and maples. There are also several ponds, a garden education center, and a 1.9-mile trail that winds through the park.

The park is open from sunrise to sunset and is free to visit. There is a parking lot located at the entrance to the park. The park is also wheelchair accessible.

The trail at Montgomery Pinetum Park is moderately challenging and offers a variety of scenery. The trail passes through several different types of forests, including pine forests, oak forests, and maple forests. There are also several ponds along the trail, which provide a nice place to stop and take a break.

The garden education center at Montgomery Pinetum Park offers a variety of programs and exhibits about plants and gardening. The center is open from 10am to 4pm on weekdays and from 1pm to 4pm on weekends.

Overall, Montgomery Pinetum Park is a beautiful and peaceful park that offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. Whether you are looking for a place to hike, learn about plants, or simply enjoy the outdoors, Montgomery Pinetum Park is a...

Great walks and short hikes the Pinetum has a lot to offer. From the Garden Center to the picnic area a short walk down the hill, to the gardens and pine trees. There is much to see. It's varied terrain and lovely woodlands make a fun and easy walk with the kids in any season.

Both sides of the park are accessible, but I prefer hiking on the Pomerance property addition. The parking area is off of Orchard Street and was recently expanded. There is also a composting toilet. The are plenty of areas to explore nature or...

It would be great if all the snobby privileged people would keep their dog on a leash and not give an attitude when asked to leash their out of control dog. Multiple times I have had dogs charge my leashed pup and owners act like I am wrong for telling them about leash laws. Besides that it is a beautiful place to bring your pup, cool bridges to cross, old rock foundation homes, great little pond. I really wish people would leash there dogs if they don't have...

Beautiful grounds and great family friendly setting in the park. For beginner hikers, parents with kids or if you don't want to travel big distances. You can stay on the smaller paned loop or go on the different colored trails present. The Pinetop is in the vicinity of greenwich close to lots of entertainment and restaurants to get food after your hike. Highly recommended.
