My friends, who were supposed to get married at the pavilion in Bell Park this summer, were informed less than two months before their wedding day that the pavilion at Bell Park had been double booked. This is extremely unprofessional on the part of Bell Park in a plethora of ways, none the least of which being that not only was this mistake made in the first place, but it was caught less than two months before the date in question. I am truly shocked and abhorred by the blatant lack of regard being shown for the people who are being negatively affected by this massive blunder on the part of the city of Greenwood. To my knowledge, there has been no effort made to amend the situation beyond an apology and a meeting with the mayor, neither of which accomplished anything; it is a fact that the couple involved is still lacking a wedding venue. The whole fiasco of a situation has been dealt with in a very disappointing manner, and I would recommend that you book your event elsewhere in the first place, lest you get left in the lurch at the very last minute. To be succinct, there are few entities which deserve zero stars more than Bell Park...

The place is very nice and affordable… BUT the guy named Casey that does the reservations, double booked it today with a wedding shower and my daughter’s baby shower, he was so terrible and told us that we would have to leave even though she communicated with him through text and also called him on the phone and he let her go up and unlock the doors an hour early to decorate with the last 4 digits of her phone number.. but then at noon another couple showed up to let us know CASEY had been texting them too .. we called to figure things out and he was SO RUDE to all of us.. told us we would have to leave .. bc HE DIDN’T put I on the books.. after we had already been decorating and setting up for an HOUR, he showed up with the police and made my daughter day terrible and made her bawl her eyes out being 8 months pregnant with no remorse or apology at all. CASEY SHOULD NOT BE IN CHARGE OF THIS PLACE .. he has no customer service skills at all and is just a terrible person!!!! As much as we love the venue we will never be back and I would say until he is no longer in charge no one should ever rent this place after what we had to deal...

It's such a nice big park. Frisbee golf, two playgrounds for the kids, a soccer field, basketball/tennis courts, a hiking trail that leads to downtown, a walking trail, plenty of beautiful over- looks of the city, there's a place for the kids to make music in the park, lots of covered table areas for picnicking, two of them have lights for evening events. The smaller table area gets really muddy after it rains, so be careful. Oh, and there's an area for you to hang up your hammock and lounge around in the shade, rock climbing and there's a pavilion with an outdoor stage I think you can rent (not sure, you'd have to contact to city). The water fountain hasn't been fully functional for quite some time. It doesn't dispense water for your pets, so come prepared. There's also only one fountain that I'm aware of at the top of the hill. The only thing I can think of that would make this place even better than it already is would be to include a splash pad area for...

Absolutely amazing park. There are pickleball courts, pavilions, great views of the sunset from high points. There is a great trail that is 2-3 miles long one way. It starts across the street from pickleball courts and goes all the way to the fire station. There are neat areas to explore just below the picnic areas around the ridge, they have huge rocks little cave like areas created by rock. There is a paved trail around the majority of the main areas that is great for bikes and roller blade/skate/other roller vehicles that require smoothe surfaces. I would just recommend this park to anyone. It is honestly one of my favorite parks, that says a lot bc I explore new parks and trails often. Have a blessed day and check out this park If you have a chance.

What a beautiful venue! The park itself is well equipped with play areas, picnic areas, etc. The grounds were manicured and in full bloom; just lovely. The Pavilion was roomy, clean, and lovely. We were there for Airing of the Quilts. Beautiful quilts were on display, assorted vendors were selling their wares, and our volunteer group had an informational table for people to learn about Quilts of Valor. Greenwood is a very pretty town and we'll visit again to explore a little more.
