The Rocks — Attraction in Grenada

Very nice beach for a like. Its almost like the coast. Very nice and there is plenty of sand and clay. Beach is perfect. The Cons: getting there is a challenge from some areas cause a road closed Elam S Rd south of Gums 82 . There is two patches of water that took the road so its closed. And when you get to the (cape retreat) were the rocks beach is the steps have been wash down and broken up. The only way down is a challenging dirt hill ramp down. The rest r clips. So you have to take that tricky dirt ramp down. Best way to get there by boat of corse. Expect dirt rock roads on your way to this location. Once you get down to the beach its worth it. Looks like more beach along the Grenada lake but I didn't explore to figure out how to get to them. Its a nice...

We used to love going here except now the concrete steps have washed away and any amount of rain floods it to where there's no beachy area. Also, our last visit resulted in being eaten alive by hundreds of baby and adult horse flies. They literally were dive bombing the windows trying to get at us when we ran to car for...

I can see how this could be a beautiful place to swim and enjoy! But I guess we got here at the wrong time, lots of rain recently so the water was very high. Unfortunately there were lots of trash near the stairs and broken glass on the sand. Maybe will try again...
