I Love this place. You can go ait on the deck at the marina, go for a swim in the pool, take a dip in the lake at the beach, grab a bite at the snack bar, walk a few miles on the trail, watch TV in the guest house or warming house fish off the point, have a picnic or just sit and look at Lake St. Clair. Please do not penalize me for the run on sentence.

I love how family oriented the area is. My boyfriend owns his boat so I'm now a reoccurring guest. More importantly, every moment spent in such a peaceful, luxurious place is worth cherishing. Beautiful.

This park has it all...pools, marina, clubhouse, pool table, ping pong, air hockey, basketball, shuffleboard, sand beach, kayaks, tennis courts, paddleball courts, kiddie pools, kids play ground, gazebo, nighttime fire pit, fishing, observatory platform (watch freighters, sail boats), concession stand, and more. Clean changing rooms, lifeguards around the pools, security guard at the entrance and all the personnel are very friendly, courteous and helpful. We love this park!

Also, please ignore reviewer's comments from Kristy Currier since she is not factual in her review. The pier parks are open to all residents of the respective municipality they reside in. The residents contribute the necessary funding via property taxes to keep the parks beautiful,...

We didn’t know it wasn’t open to general public, and we didn’t see the small stop sign inside the gate. After we went inside ( we were still by our car) , the guard was shouting from a far, saying are you a resident here? We said no, then he said you can’t stay here, you’re not allowed here, we said okay, we’re leaving, we were going inside the car and he still kept shouting, you should have stopped at the stop sign. We get it that we didn’t see the stop sign and we didn’t know it was a private park, but there’s no need to be soo rude to people like that. Especially when we were so polite and had a smile on our face. It almost ruined our whole day. The guard is...

My wife, kids, and I went to Gross Pointe for dinner at this nice restaurant, then after we wanted to take the kids to a nearby park in the area of the restaurant....I didnt know, but now I do, that ALL the parks in this area of Gross Pointe and Gross Pointe Farms like this Pier Park are PRIVATE! They these parks had a gated entrance to the park and only residents can visit this park. Mind you, this is just another normal park with trees, a pool, a playground, nothing crazy fancy, again just another Michigan park, only "private". Let's just say, my family and I will never visit this racist city and its...
