We just had my daughter's wedding here and these people are just fantastic. They bent over backwards, even working in the rain, to make our event spectacular. We were supposed to have the ceremony and reception in a friends lakefront yard but 2 weeks before he backed out. We called Lendonwood and that was the best decision we ever made. When I first called we were just looking to hold the reception there and the weather was supposed to be partly cloudy in the 70's. A week later the forecast was rainy and 40's. We kept hoping for the best because the day before and after were supposed to be sunny and high 60's. No luck, the day arrived and at 8 a.m. it started raining and it was indeed 40. We were setting up the table in the covered pavilion and ordering heaters for heat when Cindy showed up from Lendonwood. She basically forced me to let her put us inside. They had cleared out a very large house with attached green house, and her staff got out a tractor and helped us tear down and move everything up to the house. OH MY GOD they were so nice! We fit 70 people in there easily and were so glad she forced us to take it. Just the 15 minutes the guests spent in the pavilion left 5 of them shivering. I will recommend this location to anyone looking for an affordable, location, or even if you have thousands to spend, go here, its beautiful. Even on March 11 with weather in the 40's my daughter found at least 10 flowery spots to take pictures. In the sprin, summer, and fall the scenery...
Read moreQuiet and peaceful gardens to stroll through; could spend a few hours checking out all the different trees, bushes, and flowers. The Japanese garden with the pond and flowing stream leading to it was impressive. For those posting it's not a perfectly manicured botanical garden like you'd see in a large city, no it's not; it's a local garden with its own charm. I didn't mind paying $5 for the experience to discover so many different trees and plants that do well in Oklahoma's climate. It gave us some ideas for our...

Beautiful afternoon spent walking around the gardens full of fabulous colorful blooms, birds singing, lush green foliage and winding rock pathways taking you on an adventure to unknown beautiful flora where butterflies abound. We sat at the koi pond's edge surrounded by nature rising above us in the shape of magnificent magnolia trees and the splash of the fish as they leisurely swam by. Best afternoon ever the best thing is they are...
