We like this port. We stopped in for a vote to eat. It is the only place open . The restaurants in the port are closed due to the Pandemic. We got the croissants. They were very dry. I got the egg and cheese. I couldn't find any egg and the cheese was like card board. It was early in the morning and I'm sure the employee was busy but if she knew they weren't fresh , she should have said something . As I was i paying for them the lady who make a them came with a fresh batch. If I had known that I would've paid for a fresh new croissant. My $3.50 croissant was thrown away. They had a coffee machine where you could get lattes, cuppinos etc. The cuppino was good. I Did enjoy that. I know there is a pandemic but now I'm leary of buying items if they aren't good. You have to wear a mask in there and keep your distance. It is a small market. They also had souvenirs. I don't like making this report but I didn't like my croissant. It is a nice to place for coffee but I'm not sure if I eat there again. It was very disappointing since...
Read moreall 5 stars to the janitors. my fiance and i love fishing up here. we've fished everywhere along the santa barabra and ventura coasts. nothing but porta-potties at every dock. these bathrooms at the end of the pier are WONDERFUL. stocked, clean, well-lit and maintained. easy to find and easy to use. the lights have a timer, so the lights might turn off while you're using them. the bathrooms have windows, and a long, open space, with an air-dry hand station.
as for the fishing, great. we always catch something even if it's small. during the day, there are boats, kayaks, and many birds to watch out for. otherwise, its lovely and we love being able to park on the pier,...

The first thing you're going to come to is a coin-operated skiff hoist for boots that are thousand pounds and under. Next is a fishing charter named Patriot. Then towards the end of the pier you'll come to a restaurant called Mercy's it's pretty good prices aren't too bad. Next is a fish market and then at the end is a a little more pricey formal restaurant called...
