Nice easy trails and plenty of opportunities for taking pictures of flora and fauna as well as wildlife. Definitely will come back again when the weather is a bit cooler.
UPDATE: Went back October 13th, 2021 to hike and take photos and there was plenty of opportunities for leaf peeping. Gorgeous day to hike and lots of beautiful nature to look at. Well worth the second trip back.

Read moreRiver Styx is a woodsy oasis amongst farmland. In early November, the forest/pond trail is a river of rustling leaves. We saw a beautiful pair of swans on the pond. Many people were walking dogs, all well behaved and friendly. Owners were cleaning up after their pets. The playground area is suitable for little kids, maybe up to age 4-5. Picnic tables are old wood and "rustic" but serviceable. Each of two bathrooms are equipped with a working lock, foam hand sanitizer and a pit toilet. The floors were messy with tracked-in leaves. Read moreOne of my favorite small parks. Awesome trail through the woods and around the lake. Park Rangers are here often. Fishing is adequate and there are some decent size LMB and BIG carp.
Panfishing for the kids is abundant and it's a popular spot to take them. There are nice outhouses and a great little pavilion available to rent.
