Nice easy trails and plenty of opportunities for taking pictures of flora and fauna as well as wildlife. Definitely will come back again when the weather is a bit cooler. UPDATE: Went back October 13th, 2021 to hike and take photos and there was plenty of opportunities for leaf peeping. Gorgeous day to hike and lots of beautiful nature to look at. Well worth the second trip back. UPDATE 2: Went back again February 12th, 2022 to take a look around and the trail was covered in ice and very slippery. If you can navigate around that then it's still worth going to see all the snow on the trees and the frozen little lake. Got some pretty photos too.

This park is absolutely gorgeous, especially in the fall. There is a pavillion, walking trails, fishing pond, swing set, as well as walking and nature trails. The walking trail portion is paved. The pond boasts friendly swans and geese looking for handouts. The only downside to this park, and I know this doesn't affect everyone, is the lack of play equipment for small children. Regardless, we always manage to have fun here though.

This park has swings (but not a full playground), drinking fountain, water spigot, bathrooms, good climbing trees, a fishing pond with a paved walk around it, a soft nature trail (about a mile) through the woods and pollinators fields, and a nice grassy area with trees that would be great for picnicking. There are many benches to sit on throughout the park as well. It's cute and well maintained.

River Styx is a woodsy oasis amongst farmland. In early November, the forest/pond trail is a river of rustling leaves. We saw a beautiful pair of swans on the pond. Many people were walking dogs, all well behaved and friendly. Owners were cleaning up after their pets. The playground area is suitable for little kids, maybe up to age 4-5. Picnic tables are old wood and "rustic" but serviceable. Each of two bathrooms are equipped with a working lock, foam hand sanitizer and a pit toilet. The floors were messy with tracked-in leaves. The stench, even on a very cool...

One of my favorite small parks. Awesome trail through the woods and around the lake. Park Rangers are here often. Fishing is adequate and there are some decent size LMB and BIG carp.

Panfishing for the kids is abundant and it's a popular spot to take them. There are nice outhouses and a great little pavilion available to rent.

The wildlife watching is popular here. It's home to migration of some exotic birds. I've not personally seen any deer, but I'm sure they...
