Pristine. Secluded. Raw nature. Perfect sea breeze. I am running out of adjectives to describe this local beauty in the town of Guilford, CT.
I hope my review won’t attract more non-residents, but you are seriously missing out if you haven’t had a chance to visit this family oriented park.
Bring a sandwich and a bottle of sparkling water. Spend a few hours just strolling along the shore. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Long Island Sound. And it will cost you zero dollars out of your pocket....

The field has painted lines if you want to play lacrosse or soccer - there are also two nets for both sports! If you walk further down there's a very well maintained bridge and small boardwalk attached to a little beach. It was clean, quiet, and lots of fun. We had a great time!

Read moreNice little park with a secluded feeling. Parking for about 8 or 10 cars/trucks total. Open shellfishing with permit, as was posted on the sign. They have a few charcoal grill spots and a few picnic tables here and there. The pathways along and out to the water /rocks held tidal pools and the shore is covered in shells/shellfish. All in all it was peaceful with the breeze blowing and the seabirds calling out.
