The Factory is a gem and should be on everyone's attractions list, especially if you have kids!
We visited on a weekday afternoon and had the entire place to ourselves! We purchased the Jump + Climb bundle, which was $26, and is the way the go as only Jump was $16 or $24 to climb. However, if you have a child under 6, one parent or guardian automatically gets a free pass to go in with them - which was great!
You do have to sign a waiver before entering, and they do require you to purchase their special socks/rent their shoes for climbing. Those cost $3 for the socks and $1 additional to rent shoes. So, if you plan on visiting again, keep your socks!
The climbing was fun. There were roughly 20 different things that could be climbed. Another review mentioned the staff member not hooking in everyone. This is not a big deal. They help you get all of your gear on properly and then teach you how to attach and detach your harness to each obstacle/wall. We didn't run into any issues with the equipment; it was easy, and they were there if you needed help/to supervise. The hooks/clasps also have a safety catch, so it can't just come undone/open while you're climbing. Staff also allowed parents to help/be closer to the climbers if they wanted to.
There is also an arcade area that takes a reloadable card, a huge jump area with basket goals, dodgeball, a foam pit, and more. You'll definitely get a workout in! But don't worry, there are also a couple of massage chairs for the adults as well as a small area for toddlers and an observation deck that oversees the entire building. I also liked that the prize area, for the arcade, is open and for hands-on so that kids can actually look and choose their own prizes rather than being in a glass case.
Everything was immaculately clean, including the bathrooms, and updated. I also saw online that you can reserve a time slot and buy passes. There is not a concession area, which is the only thing that would have been nice for being there for 3 hours, but there are a couple of vending machines for drinks as well as Dippin Dots.
We were quite impressed with the entire setup and highly...
Read moreVery disappointed! Sky zone is much better. The "bouncers"(staff) didn't pay attention to anything. On the phone, I called and the person who answered said I needed a wrist band even if i wasn't jumping. ( i have a 6 month old), all i did was stand and watch my nephew play. I did speak with the manager and he did refund me after the rude teen girl, said "we dont do refunds" She didn't even listen to what i was trying to explain to her, about me not jumping, I was just standing holding my baby. The manager was super nice and considerate and said "no, we aren't suppose to charge if you aren't jumping".... We drove over 1 hour and we weren't pleased! Also we were told you had to bring socks or purchase socks, which alot of people were running around with no socks. The staff doesn't pay attention, they don't actually work, they were on their Cell phones, not watching or monitoring. I was expecting bigger and better than sky zone, now I know. Also lots of bigger kids over ran every thing, the smaller kids couldn't play basketball, couldn't play dodge ball. They were flipping and turning, knocked several kids over. Someone needs to monitor and watch, it wasn't very fun for the 5-7 year olds, who wanted to play and jump but couldn't due to teens 15 yrs and u. The don't care attitudes from the staff and rudeness was a bit overwhelming. Nothing professional about it!!! they allow so many people in at once, even though they have different jump times. Just very un-organized. Someone please make some corrections!!!! We would not visit again and I would not suggest it. Only positive thing, the manager took the time to listen and gave me a refund and apologized, said I should have never been charged just to stand and watch. That lots...
Read moreOh my goodness.. My husband & I were on grandparent duty today and decided to take our 3 yr old granddaughter to jump. I'm going to venture to say that the inside of the establishment was at least 95-100 degrees inside the play area. It was absolutely ridiculous! Every single parent in the place was talking and complaining. I heard 3 parents say that they would NEVER be returning due to the heat. I looked around at all the children & they had blood red faces & pouring sweat. I was sitting still and could not breathe. There was no air circulating at all. My 50 yr old husband was having to play with the grandbaby because I absolutely could not stand the heat. Every few minutes, our grand daughter was coming to drink water. My husbands' clothing was drenched with sweat. He was actually forced to have to sit down because he could not breathe & felt as though he was going to pass out. Two moms sitting beside us went up front to complain because there were fans but, the establishment refused to turn them on stating that it would only make things hotter by blowing hot air. After leaving early, we were forced to sit in our vehicle with the air blowing full blast while we tried to get our breath. My husband was pale in color & feeling unstable. We had to sit there for quite a while until he cooled off and began feeling better. This is just ridiculous to treat children & paying parents this way! We will NEVER go back nor would I ever recommend taking your children to this place! In my opinion, it's a...
