I had high expectations of this park considering that we had to pay to get in however after visiting I am greatly disappointed. Firstly charging 5 dollars per person is not a bad price if the money is seemingly being spent to improve the park. Also I think it would be worth mentioning that cash is the only acceptable form of payment on the website and updating the price increase. Nevertheless this park had few playground structures maybe 4-5 at best, a small swimming area that was riddled with trash and broken glass! And an unkept lawn also riddled with trash. The only thing that makes this park worth it are the pavilions with picnic tables and fishing. I probably wouldn’t visit this park again even if it was free. Hopefully the money we spent there is actually used to better this park in the future.

One of the beautiful hidden gem, very relaxing, less crowded..clean and neat. Entrance fee is 3$ per person and free for kids, There is a park inside, and it’s a kid friendly place.. and you can the rent the boat..lot of families and kids wer having fun , no pets allowed, there is quite few picnic tables and it get closed by 8 pm..highly recommended this place for families and kids

Only giving 2 stars due to the pubic pier/boat ramp access was a good location however, we traveled 4&1/2 hours to this area to check out this park specifically and there was not any warning of a private event that would have to park closed. There should have been better public communication on the private event closure than handwritten paper signs on a fence when we pulled in.

The lake it's self is awesome, but be awear after dark. On two separate occasions my family and I went here to boat and fish, and when we came off the water we noticed damage or theft to our boat trailer. The first occurance happend about a month ago, when we got off the water we noticed damage to our trailer, it was scratched up badly on the tire fenders. Then last night as we got off the water we noticed that someone had stolen one boat guide off the trailer and unscrewed the other, these are the posts attached to the trailer that helps you to line the boat up with the trailer to come out the water. I love this lake, but thieves are giving it a bad reputation. The owners need to provide security and better lighting in the area where the trailers sit after dark. It maybe a while before we go back, because we drive 2 hrs to get there and cant enjoy our time there because were concerned about theft........

This place a few years back I gave them a review on here. Well it wasn't a good one. I'm back and I hope that the fire, ambulance, and police have access to get through the gates that they keep locked. " My story started My baby girl stopped breathing one day we were out at Tom Finley Park They couldn't reach my baby to help her because no one had access to keys for the gate that kept rescue crews from reaching her. I thank God every day that there was a nurse that was out there that day. Because she may not be here with us today. If it wasn't for her being there. To this day I still haven't found her . Please she is a Hispanic female mid-40s to late 40s. Maybe in her...
