New England Falconry — Attraction in Hadley

Even after reading every falconry book I could my hands on before going there was NO WAY to get ready for how absolutely FANTASTIC and impactful this experience was going to be.

The site is nothing short of magical and bucolic (bring bug spray if it is bug season) and Chris is well spoken, knowledgeable and laid back! There is a immaculately clean porta-potty (no rest rooms) because this is a beautiful woodland and meadow setting, but there is a Dunkin Donuts a few miles down the road, if needed.

Chris from New England Falconry is very knowledgeable in falconry. We enjoyed a 45 minute session on Easter Sunday with our grandson. This was a very unique experience in learning about hawks and falcons. We also got a chance in the basics of flying a Harris Hawk. Everyone got multiple turns at flying. The class is wonderful and may do it again in the future to see these beautiful animals. Lots of time is spent answering any questions you may have about the hawks while also creating a very engaging experience that you won't forget.
