Free parking the last weekend of September and also Monday through Thursday in October! October weekends are busy and parking is $20 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) but they give you a $10 voucher to spend on pumpkins. Go early in the morning to beat the crowds.
Upon entering the gate, you're typically greeted by a friendly employee or sometimes the owners. Then to the right, the first window is where you purchase wristbands or tickets for the maze, haunted barn, hay ride, train ride, petting zoo, or playland. If you plan on spending a lot of time, then the wristband can be worth it. The hay maze was difficult this year and I have gone through it twice. The middle window is where you check out to purchase pumpkins. Be sure to use your coupon/voucher!!
To the left after the main entry is the snack shack full of little goodies. They don't serve hot food but they do have great homemade fudge and a selection of ice cream! Pumpkin pie fudge and pumpkin It'sIt ice cream were my favs.
Under the extra large white tent is where lots of gorgeous pumpkins are located. There's also a bunch behind it and near the corn field and hay maze. I love that there's so many choices of beautiful and edible pumpkins.
This year, I noticed the toddler hay maze is to the left of the large maze. It has pumpkins stacked on the top entrance and this is free.
There's also picnic tables and benches available but can also be reserved ahead of time...
Read moreOne star only because I can't give zero. My family, including four very excited children, made a 1.5-hour drive (3 hours round trip!) from San Jose specifically to visit this farm's pumpkin patch. This was a complete and utter waste of time, effort, and gas, thanks entirely to the farm's appalling lack of organization. Upon arrival, we were met with the sickening realization that the farm was completely closed, hosting an unannounced private event. How a business manages to fail at the most basic level of customer communication is baffling. Their official website stated, unequivocally, that they were open. There was not a single note, social media update warning visitors of the change in schedule. This is not a simple oversight; this is a display of a kindergarten level of professionalism. The level of organization is simply awful. Management's responsibility is to ensure accurate operating hours are published. Their casual "sorry" does nothing to compensate for three hours of driving time and the massive disappointment inflicted upon our children. If this farm intends to function as a business that invites the public, the ownership and management desperately need a complete overhaul. Until then, I strongly recommend that families seek out another, nicer farm for their seasonal outings. Choose a place where you won't be disappointed by such a fundamental failure to operate...

I asked in shock are you sure 3 pumpkins are 170$ in which the lady replied ooh yeah they are expensive to grow..... I mean seriously dont get me wrong I love spending money when it makes sense but this is just complete failure of a business and a kick in the face .... its the most absurd thing i have ever seen ... My guess is like most of my friends here in PV will simply not come again Not to mention the wasp problem that has been out of control for the past 15 years has gotten worse and worse It is day light theft and im thinking about reporting to the better business board . they must be investigated . its like charging 80$ for a box of kleenex .
