It was a great experience, and we will definitely be back out for more fun under the "Sun." (For context we were fishing, sea urchining?, and crabbing) There were about 15mph winds at its lowest, it was overcast for about 90% of our stay even though it was supposed to be sunny, and there were about 12 foot swells that kept crashing into the rocks and forcing itself to rush above our calves each time. This would have been a horrible time for anyone who was unprepared, but luckily, I was fully geared with 3 layers and a set of waders. We ended the day with about 90 Sea Urchins, 3 Rock Crabs, and 1 Rock Fish, so pretty successful, I would say. Will definitely be coming back and will also be bringing my family.

Went urchin foraging on Jan 27th. Found a decent number at 0 ft water level. Lots of pretty sea life.

I visited here in July. You can find small crabs and hermit crabs on the beach. I walked the West Shoreline Access trail, then walked along the beach. The soothing sounds of gentle waves made it relaxing. The beach had an area where a lot of seaweed had washed up on it, and further down there was an area full of seashells. At the end of the beach is where I found crabs in rock pools. Restrooms were in the...

Great tide pools — lots of bivalves, starfish, anemones, etc. I wanted to go foraging for sea urchins, but it seems I got there too late, as there were basically no urchins left. If you want to go foraging, go as early as the tide will allow, and go on the first day that negative tides occur during the daytime. Expect to see lots of people...
