Just out driving around today exploring Hagerstown as a recent NJ transplant and saw sign Orchard and Dairy Farm, so slowed down and drove up the drive. A third generation working dairy farm that also sells peaches and other garden produce picked fresh and sold at "very reasonable" price points. I had been carving some homegrown tomatoes, not hot house or the dreaded supermarket variety and I purchased a $5.00 container that probably weighed between 3~4 pounds and I had been paying $4.50 lb. at local Washington County farmers markets, no more. The center slice covers a slice of bread, just add some Dukes Mayonaise and salt and pepper plus BLT'S for lunch tomorrow, also will be great with scrapple and make great frizzled tomatoes. Peaches looked really good, should have bought some plus cucumbers and brown eggs, now that I know where it is can see going there twice a week, really nice and welcoming lady at the farm store and made me fell welconed, check them out and you won't be disappointed

We love fresh apples so on our way through the state we stopped. People were friendly but seemed surprised to have us roll in. Small stall filled with a nice variety of already picked produce grown locally on the farm. Good variety of apples, cantaloupe , tomatoes, cucumbers plus other...

Received some peaches from a friend that recommends them highly. I also agree that these are juicy and delicious. Far better than what is available at grocery stores. I will be buying some next time I am...
