Willow Tree Winery — Attraction in Ham Lake

It says a lot about the character of an owner when you have so many supportive regulars. My husband and I recently came in to try it for the first time on a Friday afternoon and we were warmly greeted not only by the owner himself but also a few that were chatting with him around the bar area. Sweet wines, the first 4 1-2 ounce samples are free. A generous pour glass was $6. Jim is a friendly host. I found most of the wines to be sweet and refreshing, nice for a warm summer day. They give you a cup of oyster crackers to cleanse your palette in between samples and glasses.
