The strawberries are fantastic and I have to assume the majority of the staff and help are also. However, when you go there make sure your basket is weighed. You might have to wait in line in order to get your basket weighed before you go to the field to pick your strawberries. It's either pay $4 for their strawberry box or better yet avoid the hassle with the lady in the gray dirty shirt / dirty blonde hair / morbid personality & beat up black pick up truck and just pay for the weight of you own box or container and go about your business. I just had knee surgery and couldn't do it. We picked up a flat of delicious looking strawberries and cantaloupe that smelled very sweet. The watermelons looked very nice also, but we settled for the flat and cantaloupe. We were told July 4th that the sweet corn will be in, so we definitely will be returning. Read moreI love this place, as it's just a hop, skip and a jump from where I live and they have the most amazing corn, as well as other delicious produce. But this year the tomatoes aren't so good. They must have changed the variety (or it's possibly due to the poor growing conditions from all the rain we had at the beginning of the season, I don't know) because the tomatoes aren't as wonderful as they usually are and have been in recent years. Still love this market, but disappointed in the quality and taste of the tomatoes for the 2019 summer season.
