Read moreTook my parents (in the 50s) out on the trail and they loved it. It was March and there was still a bunch of snow. Be sure to have good shoes. The visibility was beautiful and the canyon opens up. Lots of wildlife and some rivers down in the bottoms get pretty high when the spring time melt comes. We did see a Moose and though it was early in the season, I would suggest bringing bear spray. Overall a great hike....
Read moreThis was a beautiful spring hike with the creek running very high. The trail is cleared past the cascades which is about 2 miles up. Lots of Calypso Orchids (fairy slippers), shooting stars, and wild clematis in bloom in the shady, lush environment.
