Easy five stars. Lost Trail has been and will always be my all time favorite place to ski. This season i was up there a lot more and really got a grasp of what LT has to offer on their mountain. I started skiing there and i highly recommend it to any skill level. They truly have something for everyone. This year I finally got comfortable with LTs double blacks and let me tell you, they don’t let down (although i still have some work to do on the terrain park). It doesn’t stop at the terrain! Lost trail has great staff and ski patrol who add to the already great experience. I can easily say I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the staff members at lost trail and the ski patrol are very knowledgeable and can help with just about anything. The prices are also very good too. Ive seen reviews regarding how Lost Trails prices have gone up, although they aren’t what they used to be they’re still very good for what you get. When comparing these prices to other resorts in Montana they still hold up. My only complaint are the chair lifts being quite uncomfortable to sit on (especially on chair 4) and only having two people on each chair can be tricky for large groups. but it’s nothing to be too unhappy about. Lost trail will always hold a special place in my heart for just how good it is. I can do nothing but recommend it to you if you want to get up on the mountain this winter! With great runs, great staff, and great powder, it’s the perfect place to ski!

I had never skied at Lost Trail Ski area before. But my son and grandchildren were going and I wanted to go with them. I was recovering from a left knee replacement. And my doctor gave me the go ahead to go skiing. Imagine my surprise when we arrived to a full parking lot to a ski area that was an hour and a half south of missoula. I don't know where all the people came from but it was full!! It turned out that day the snow conditions were wonderful. It was snowing, some rain and wind, But it mattered not to us. Another unexpected surprise was going into the lodge for lunch. It was very crowded in there but there was good humor everywhere. The best part was how wonderful the food was!! It was good and yummy. The workers there were very pleasant and friendly. I had expected to only have skied a half a day, But I found I skied all day there. It was a Delightful day with Family and the great outdoors.

Lost Trail Powder Mountain is my favorite ski area for a variety of reasons. First and foremost the snow conditions are great. The combination of groomed terrain and awesome powder make it fun and interesting for our whole family. Then their staff…they are the friendliest. Especially Wyatt on chair one. The staff make you feel like we’re more like friends and family. The ski lessons are the best deal in the country! The instructors are amazing. The staff are also quick to help. Lastly, the food is soooo good! Sometimes as prices have gone up, you feel like…that wasn’t worth it, but I have yet to think that after anything that I’ve ordered!

This place used to be awesome, but the last time I went it was horrible. The lodge was pitiful and they are definitely getting greedy. They took the microwaves out of the lodge so you can’t eat warm food, so you have to buy it🤨 the tickets have increased by like 15 dollars, it took them 45 minutes to wax my board, and they never try to fix the line situation (crowds the whole building and takes forever) most of the lifts are closed because they don’t spend money to fix them, and the rentals are SO BAD. Mavericks rentals make them look like garbage. They bring in about a million in profits a season and don’t bother to spend any money on the lodge or equipment....
