Patton Homestead — Attraction in Hamilton

Patton Homestead is a beautiful place to go. I enjoy visiting the property and learning about its history there. It is a very calming place to be and I am glad that it’s still around today. I visited the Patton Homestead in July of this year. It is a beautiful place to visit and I would recommend anyone who is interested in history or architecture to go there. The property is very well taken care of and you can tell that the owners take pride in their home. The grounds are beautiful, there are many many trees and flowers, as well as a pond with fish in it. As clearly stated on the website, guided tours of the interior are currently hosted by Wenham Museum and must be scheduled in advance. This property has a free audio tour and an informational kiosk with a colorful map shared the history of the area. The audio tour even included an accurate transcript for those who prefer to read rather than listen, and historical photographs from the collection, which were curated with help from the Wenham Museum. Not what I had expected in the least. The property is now a “temporary” town hall. You scan QR codes to self tour the outside of the property.
