Great rescue, run by amazing people! Key word here... RESCUE! This is not a zoo. They save animals, surrendered animals, law confiscated animals, lab rescues, and even zoo rescues. They are housed on grounds that can get muddy, and have hills, so walking for elderly, or handicapped may be difficult. This place is so wonderful, especially for kids! So many sweet animals to pet and feed! The manager Melissa Bishop is so kind and knowledgeable! She has helped so many people and so many animals all her life and now at such a young middle age she is fighting stage 4 lung cancer 😢. The staff is awesome they do a GOOD job with taking care of the animals. They have saved a lot. My favorite is the goat of all the critters lol he is a stingy one. And he is good at photo bombs!! And what ever you do it you buy your ticket on Groupon remember there not open on Friday's just a FYI it's a Groupon problem they fail to tell you that. And there also close when it's raining.
