Hidden little gem in Ludington State Park! The Dune Climb on the Skyline Trail is a nice little treat that you get in addition to the beautiful view of Ludington as you look South from the observation deck. The kids absolutely love the dune climb. They run down or roll down the dune and climb back up as many times as they can... The perfect way for parents to get their kids to sleep well while camping!😉. Be sure to check it out!

Love love love the skyline trail. I have been coming here since the early 90s. The trail offers scenic views with a peaceful walk through the canopy. The boardwalk is a little dated but it did seem like the park service was working hard to revitalize the park as a whole. The initial stair climb up is a little bit of work but definitely worth it!

Such a great trail, the views are great and if you like to climb stairs you'll love it. Anytime we are up in to this area we make sure to walk this trail 😊

Love love love the skyline trail. I have been coming here since the early 90s. The trail offers scenic views with a peaceful walk through the canopy. The boardwalk is a little dated but it did seem like the park service was working hard to revitalize the park as a whole. The initial stair climb up is a little bit of work but definitely worth it!
