Dimatteo Vineyards — Attraction in Hammonton

I had an issue with this winery at the Seaside Heights Wine Festival, then now again at Six Flags Grape Adventure this past weekend. Two of the ladies that serve the wine during wine tasting are very nasty. When I asked one of them for another sample of their Plum Wine, the lady responded with an attitude "Only one tasting per wine is allowed". I was thinking of purchasing that wine, plus others..but with that attitude, I will never purchase from then again. Another couple we were with at Grape Adventure went over to their table later in the day and was greeted in the same nasty way. BTW after leaving their table at Grape Adventure, I went to the other winery vendors and had no issue with additional tastings. I walked away with over a case of wine that day. Never will I purchase anything from these...

Well this was the 3rd winery and last stop and what a homerun; it was like the grand finale of all 3 winery's!! Right off the bat the crowd of people were so friendly! Anthony, behind the bar pouring our tastings of wine, was Amazing and Funny!!!! Anthony talked about the history of the grapes. The place is small and it's awesome!! You can't go wrong with any wine, sweet or dry and so well balanced!! My wife and I are glad we were able to get here before it closed, we ended up buying 2 bottles of wine. We live close buy all these amazing wineries and we are so lucky. South Jersey makes the best wines. If your on your tour, make Dimatteos a stop, trust me, you will blow your palate away with ever taste. We just want say thank you to Anthony for an amazing...

Beyond impressed!! This past Sunday we hosted a bridal shower for our sister/daughter at DiMatteo Winery. From the start I was overwhelmed and when I pulled up and began unloading my car 4 gentlemen rushed over to help me. I was not expecting such kindness in today’s age. So knowing those type of people frequent the winery is a plus!! Then you have the sweetest staff/winetender Jackie, and she knows how to make a killer sangria!!!! The room our party was in was perfect!! I would recommend hosting a gathering or even just a beautiful day out on their patio sipping a glass or two, maybe more of their wine. Tucked away, it’s definitely a place to relax and enjoy life...
