Hammonton Lake Park — Attraction in Hammonton

Awesome place not just for sports going on but the scenery & playground are amazing as well! Just wish there was easier way to get a stroller into the playground area & actually be able to maneuver it! Lol! (for lil ones not yet walking or not walking good enough to not fall on the dirt/ mulch.) (Another little downside: The bathrooms- if they're open. They aren't that clean either... -ok they are normally super gross- but it's a park, so try to get your lil ones to go before you leave!) This park is safe, very clean, & the playground is fenced in- yes, obviously you still must watch your child(ren) but I love that added feature & also how each play set goes from youngest to oldest. Allows younger children to take their time & not be rushed by bigger kids & let's the bigger kids be able to play at their pace as well. Kinda like each one grows with your child! We love going...

Hammonton Lake Park is a nice place, no different than other parks with a lake. Most of the park is clean and well maintained. The area around the lake, specifically the bulkhead, is sometimes littered with garbage and the occasional pile of used briquettes. Fishing from land is generally good, fish are always biting. There are those who keep everything they catch, regardless of size, so there must be an infinite amount of fish. (Sarcasm) And there are those who speak aloud in language that most people would be called a racist for using. Overall, there isn't a feeling of being unsafe, there are no empty beer or liquor bottles, no smell of marijauna, which seems to be the new normal, and families gather to enjoy...

Great park to check out. There's a lake, which is much bigger than I thought it would be. The playground is full enclosed with gates so little ones can't just run out (given that all of the gates are actually closed). There are benchens within the play area so the adults can sit & watch the kids. The bathroom (at least the women's side) was very clean & well stocked. There's a lot of picnic tables available to eat at. I also noticed several charcoal grills in the area of the picnic tables. (Squirrels will beg for food fyi).
