Kennedy Cellars Winery & Tasting Room — Attraction in Hammonton

To follow up on Tee’s review, you did not welcome us or make us feel welcome. There was no warm greeting, not even a hello. There is no need to lie in your comment. The first thing you said when we walked in was a rudely worded statement about not filming. Tee would not have a problem not videoing if you had been polite and respectful. The way you talked to him was patronizing and disrespectful. If not videoing is your policy, then you should post that outside for all patrons to see it as they walk in. We continued in and sat down, but Tee felt too disrespected and left. Our friends stayed because Tee insisted they stay and enjoy the wine. They also did not appreciate the way you spoke to Tee. A very nice server greeted us kindly after witnessing your interaction with us. She was doing her best to make us feel welcome in spite of the way you treated him. She has excellent customer service skills and should receive a bonus because she was polite, attentive and is an asset to the winery. She is the only reason our friends stayed because after the interaction with you they also felt uncomfortable. We were on vacation and were videoing for our memories. None of your patrons were even looking at us and never acted as if they were upset about Tee videoing. I am sure many customers have videos and pictures they have taken there. My fiancée and I just got engaged this weekend and visited the Hammonton wineries to enjoy the wine and chocolate trial tastings. We went to Kennedy Cellars for the first time on Saturday and had the best experience. The atmosphere at Kennedy Cellars is so welcoming- we ended up spending most of the afternoon there and went back again on Sunday before heading home. We are dry red wine drinkers. We have visited the majority of the New Jersey wineries included on the Garden State Wine Growers passport and Kennedy Cellars offers some of the best! The tasting room is inviting and automatically mood-enhancing from the moment you walk in. Their events like Wine & Cheese and Corks & Courses are excellent.
