Seminoe Reservoir — Attraction in Hanna

Nice Reservior, beautiful setting. No one around but the security guy to help us with our camping spots. No one even asked us if we had proof of paying for our spot and we were under the impression our inormation was to be left at the camping spot. It was not. The camping spots are nice,but thermistor cover, as in no trees or cover over the nice picnic tables. We did enjoy thewater even though it was way to windy to paddle. We tried to find information on this area, but it was all very vague. We will go back on a day...

This is an unexpected gem for those who like to explore. Its literally in the middle of nowhere. The drive North past the Sinclair Oil Refinery is striking and desolate. After driving through the arrid Wyoming landscape the reservoir is almost a shock. The reservoir is dotted with secluded little coves with red beaches you could easily spend an afternoon languidly relaxing in. This is a must stop for any shutter bug looking for something off the beaten path. There's beautiful natural landscapes...

Watch out sons of grocery store owner who will steal into your camp at night if you camp on bml land and steal your stuff. It's too dissuade one from camping at their paid lots in town instead. I found one of my poles hung up on brush 50 yards from shore. It is territorialism...
