We stopped here on our way back from a mission trip. It was really neat to drive along the bluffs and get little glimpses of the river. Thankfully we stopped right where the treeline opened up and had our lunch with a panoramic view of the Mississippi! There was a statue of Samuel Clemens overlooking the river, and it was a really neat place to have some Little Caesars pizza and reflect on how our trip went. There is a playground and several picnic tables, or just pull off the road and find a shade tree. There are bathrooms near the playground and another scenic view down that way if you feel like seeing the whole park. There are several paved trails through the woods as well. If you have a crowd and plan a picnic, this would be the place. We did not check out any of the bathrooms, so that we can't rate.
