I’ve been coming to Erie for several years to do tastings, this was my first time to 6 mile cellars with my husband and I was SO impressed. A lot of my favorite wineries have LOST good customer service but 6 mile cellars staff was polite, kind and helpful! We arrived 10 minutes before close and asked to taste and the staff was so welcoming and said it was no problem. We walked out with ciders and souvenir glasses. My husband and I stopped here for his birthday to sample wine and purchase the infamous red derby. We had an exceptional experience. Not only were we treated to the backstory of the lovely barn, but we were educated on the wine as well. We sampled 6 wines, all so different and very good. We ended up purchasing 6 bottles.
