Shades Beach Park — Attraction in Harborcreek Township

Shades Beach has been renovated and looks amazing. One side of the beach has a sandy beach with plenty of room for swimming, laying out and having fun with your friends and family. The other side has boat ramps and docks for loading and unloading your boats. Also, you can have fun with your Jet Skis here as well. Easy access for everything. There is a rope lined path that leads up a hill to one of the coolest oak trees I have seen. Perched on the edge of a cliff, the roots are exposed as time and erosion have played there part in the history of this tree. The view, incredible 😍 🙌. Beautiful beach with plenty of parking and awesome boat launch! The sand and water were clean. Bathroom facilities were well maintained. There is also a big playground for the kids and multiple pavilions for a private lunch or to rent for a celebration. We were lucky enough to visit on a Friday and Harborcreek Township arranged food trucks on site during the summer. We got a super lunch and enjoyed the sandy beach at Shade's Beach!
