Busy on a Thursday evening in early summer. The Russian olive trees surrounding the pond are in full bloom and the fragrance is a bit overpowering so beware if you have allergies. I don't fish but saw and heard several jumping out of the water. Thought they were frogs and maybe they were but if so, they were jumping a mighty long way! I'm just stopping for the night and so far so good besides the steady stream of cars. Appears to be a popular place with the locals, lots of off leash dogs but they appeared under control. But I'm severely frustrated that our generations are becoming such trashy people. There was trash everywhere, beer cans, soda cups, etc. Kids have spray painted the trees and park sign.
