We recently moved close to this museum and decided to visit, with interest in learning more about the local area. The location is very unassuming from the road, and I fully admit my expectations were blown out of the water. There is so much history here for those looking to learn. There are beautiful antique farm implements of all kinds, from dozens of different kinds of barbed wire (who knew there were so many varieties?! Not me!) to incredibly complex machinery. I didn't know, before going here, just how much importance this area held for agricultural advancements. There is a neatly-shelved, bright toys room with walls lined with shiny (and not-so-shiny) antique toy farm implements. There is an entire room dedicated to a former local train line, done in miniature scale. A whole huge outbuilding has a wall or two neatly lined with an overwhelming number of cast-iron farming implement seats of every model you can imagine. A large and beautiful section dedicated to many different wrenches for machinery before the world decided to standardize. And there's so much more to look at and learn about. Items that are pretty much as they were. Items that are mid-restorarion. Items that have been restored to their glory. While the place isn't absolutely huge, I feel that you could spend hours and hours here and still never see everything. Please consider making a visit - may be best to contact first, especially in the colder months, to make an appointment for a tour. This is a true "hidden" gem with a ton of heart, with very dedicated people behind it. If you have any love for history, agriculture, the things people get up to in order to make a hard job a little easier, or you just like to look at shiny things, this is a stop you shouldn't miss.

Being short on time when we arrived, Mike have us a very quick and interesting tour! Be sure to use the address on Facebook, not the Google maps.

Well we went to Paulson's Museum Saturday evening to play Euchre and whoever runs the Euchre card game was very inconsiderate not contacting anyone don't let them know at the Euchre game was canceled and we and my sister and I drove in a snowstorm the person who runs that Euchre game once a month got all our phone numbers and told us they would get a hold of us if it was canceled and we did not get a phone call from no one to let us know it was canceled that was very inconsiderate and I'm disappointed very much we enjoy going there once a month to play Euchre I think the person who runs it all...
