It's about mile from the Rte 123 entrance to the cove. The trail is mostly woods. It is well marked. I like to use it to try out new hiking shoes. My hound likes all the exciting smells. It is not a good trail for anything with wheels. Mitchell Field is much better for bikes, strollers, wagons or wheelchairs.

Just a short drive from Bowdoin College, Erica's Seafood and Mitchell Field. Your walk to the shore will reward you with the wide open shoreline and nearly private ocean view for hundreds of yard. Be quiet on the trail, you might just spot a white tail deer or two (we did).

Another nice Trail one that goes around by the farm and one that goes down around the cove but be careful when windy branches do snap off and can hurt you I had one fall within 10 feet of me today that was 14 ft long I still recommend this place

This is my favorite of all of the Harpswell trails. I know it's short but I really love that it leads to a beautiful beach. Lots of well made bridges. And it's just so peaceful here. My dog loves The seaweed. LOL her stomach does not,...
