We had a great experience with The Opal Oak Summit! The setting is breathtaking and the reception space had a lot of room for our guests. The Opal Oak Summit has package options available and my husband and I went with the tier three package. With the package, the owner Chad coordinated the majority of our vendors and worked with them directly. He kept us informed throughout the entire process and is very quick to respond. Our package came with florals, linens, flatware, plates, cups, bartender, day of coordinator, cake, catering, decor and photography. The owner Kelly was over the decoration and she arranged everything beautifully. I requested long tables for the wedding part at our reception and Chad found the perfect barn tables. Chad recommended The Blossom Barn Florals for florals and they did an amazing job! The arranged my bouquet exactly how I envisioned and captured the enchanted feel I wanted for our tables. I provided a barn to hang over the long table and I love how they worked in the florals and globes. Chad connected us with Angelina with Purposely Planned- Events by Angelina and she was great! She helped us map out the day and was very quick in her communications. She did a great day the day of and I would work with her again. I included some early preview shots from Josh our photographer at Shoop Shots Studios and I cannot recommend him enough! He does incredible work and really captures how beautiful the venue is. I would highly recommend The Opal Oak Summit and choosing a package with them because it made planning so much easier. Thank you Chad and your team for making our wedding a great experience!

This is location, location, location! Not to mention the views. Yes some people are scared by the drive 56 minutes from Knoxville or so. With twist and turns as well as Great views. Once you arrive it has a very steep drive up a single lain driveway… not to worry the traffic coming down is held up and only allowed when no one is driving up. It is all worth the drive. Once you arrive at the short drive and at the summit… the views, views and views. Did I mention the sight is also so well layout! Yes plenty of parking, space and all. I would still recommend a party bus and transport to enjoy the views and after party. Shuttle bus or anything from hotel. But parking is plenty and free. You are welcome to a walkway that sets you up for the ceremony stage, and views of overlooking hills, trees and picturesque views. A nice courtyard patio with lights and fresh concrete welcomes you for drinks, appetizers or what you may plan before heading into the barniminuim style hall. With cold A/c heat and open room bathrooms. Large open ceilings and wood walls make it look rustic but fresh. A nice place. It even has a prep kitchen and upper room for bridal party. Outside more open green and a firepit for afternoon stories or just to hang out.

We got married at Opal Oak on October 25, 2025, and it was truly more than I could have ever dreamed of!

When we first toured the venue back in January, it was rainy and dreary, but even then, the view took our breath away. We were hoping for a late October or early November date, and by pure luck, someone had just canceled for October 25th, one of the most sought-after weekends of the year. We booked right away, and it turned out to be the best decision we could’ve made.

From the very beginning, Chad made the experience so special. When we toured, he even had pictures from our engagement set up, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. Chad truly takes care of everything and pays close attention to every detail. His communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and we always felt supported and cared for.

The day of the wedding, the view was absolutely stunning, the decor was so beautiful, and everything came together perfectly. We chose the all-inclusive package, which took so much stress off our shoulders. The recommended food vendors were phenomenal, the photographers were amazing to work with, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about Caroline, the coordinator. She was incredible; we met with her multiple times, and she helped calm every bit of stress and made sure everything ran smoothly.

I would highly, highly recommend Opal Oak to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an incredible team. Our wedding day was...
