We came to visit from Monroe County Illinois to ATV ride the new OHV trail system. The trails are very well kept and the staff at the registration shed were super nice and helpful. The site just recently opened. The only recommendation I would give is to eventually add a wash station to clean your ATVs when finished and also consider add a vending machine for drinks or snacks. Lots of bodies of water are created by old strip mining of coal. The Departments of Conservation remodeled the land, turning into a nice hicking and fishing 🎣 area with boat docks and parking lots. The park is we'll taken care of. Great for a day out. The park is very large with different places to park or hike. They have a place to ride 4 wheelers in a set off to the side its own...
