This one is in Harrison, Maine! It’s a beautiful lake, with a nice ( but small) beach, limited parking, but it’s FREE ! Our 1st time here, on a sunny day in summer . . . brings back so many wonderful childhood memories, spent on picturesque New England lakes!

This Crystal Lake rates well on Maine’s water testing scale. Above average clean to swim. There’s bathrooms, small children’s play equipment. I noticed a gazebo being used for a child’s birthday party! Several folks brought picnic lunches! The highlight. . . the local Ice Cream Truck showed, the kids flocked like pigeons at the park around the truck! 😃👍🏼
