Saw Shrek the Musical, that was fun! Check out their website for the full history of the place, it was purpose built and it shows! The mics cut out a couple times but it was still easy to understand the performance despite sitting in the back row! Beautiful wood barn-type construction, there's an attached building with bathrooms and snacks but I didn't actually go in that part.

If you've never been to Deertrees Theatre I highly recommend making it a point to go.

Love love love deertrees! It is the perfect summer venue. The director brings in great talent, artists hang their wares in the reception area, and local treats during intermission. The venue was built by NY opera stars in the 30s. It is a beautiful space and not a bad seat in the place. Pick a concert or theatre production and...
