This is one of the coolest rail trails! The many tunnels, bridges, curves and elevation changes combine for a great ride.
I rode from North Bend Park to Parkersburg and back on day 1. Note there are no places to get food and water along the way, so bring plenty with you. Storms the previous two nights had knocked down some branches. I came across a gentleman with a chainsaw who was getting the trail promptly cleared.
On day 2, I rode North Bend Park to West Union and back. Past Greenwood , the trail condition varies, but was still rideable with a MTB or a hybrid.
