A hidden gem in the countryside of Shelby. Be aware that it is very easy to miss the sign to the entrance as it is very small. Great wine and pizza and entertainment on the weekends. Buy a wine flight, a glass, or buy the bottle. Recorking service is available if you want to take your bottle of wine home after it has been opened. Many people brought their own snacks, cheese and crackers, birthday cake, fruit... Sit outside and enjoy the views of Crystal Lake, the vineyard, the hillside pasture, or practice your putting skills on the small practice green. Blankets are available to use on chilly days. So peaceful and very nice people all around. Arrived here after being ignored and not acknowledged by another winery. So glad we said that other place was not our place because Pleasant Valley was more than just Pleasant. They were hometown friendly and the Wines we tasted were great so we bought some to compliment our dinner! Will definitely be back. This is literally one of my favorite places to visit when in the area. The staff is so incredibly kind and personable. Not only are they warm and welcoming to us, but also our daughter in a wheelchair by giving us the easiest access to getting her in.
