Attended a short wedding and reception there. About three hours. The venue is on a farm and vineyard just past Cullman, AL, between Huntsville,AL and Birmingham, AL. North of B'Ham. The building was a huge, two story barn-like structure which included an upstairs area for the wedding party's preparation & storage. The downstairs main area included a kitchen, in which your meal can be catered on the premises. The first floor also included two restrooms in country decor. A metal old fashion yet newer wash basin with modern equipment was used as a sink in the female's restroom. The restrooms were in the fourier near the main entrance. The fourier had stairs leading upstairs. It opened up to the seating area, and chapel area straight ahead, picture a large gymnasium or modern chique barn. Cedar or Oak wooden walls. Wood floors. Rustic but modern and fresh! The DJs set up in the back of this room. As you walked into the room, to the left was an elongated dining room. To the left and via another door was the onsight kitchen. I am not sure if you must allow the owners to cater or if you can bring in outside food and use the kitchen. The food that we had as we went through the buffet line to get included: turkey slices, shredded turkey, mac and cheese (stove top, instant), mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, condiments of BBQ sauce, mustard. We had a choice of water, lemonade, sweet tea, unsweetened tea. The Bride and Groom's table had all of the pastries:Their Cake and assorted cupcakes. That part of the dining area appeared to have 10 or more tables with six chairs. I am guessing that you can arrange either of the two rooms below and perhaps, the upstairs, to suit one's needs. Lighted sheer white cutains adorned the side inner entrance between the two main floor rooms. The building contained several exits. The upstairs had a balcony that looked down on the two lower rooms. Some people took pictures from there. The wedding party and the guest were super fantastic! We had so much fun! Also, the main entrance had a large, long, tall carport. We needed it as there was a large rainy thunderstorm during our event. Several drivers could wait in the driveway to pick up their passenger(s) w/o a drop of rain getting on their rider(s). So nice. WILL YOU BE RENTING THIS PLACE SOON?? You know...
Read moreI cannot possibly say enough good things about this place. It is beautiful and large. Pictures do not do it justice, you have to go in person. Cynthia and the staff will make you feel like family. I think that when you sit down with them you will find their prices very reasonable. They try very hard to fit your budget and make sure your event is everything...
