GoFAR USA Park — Attraction in Hartselle

This place is a hidden GEM near Decatur. I've never seen anything like it. It's a combination of stringent outdoor play in the woods with multiple climbing contraptions and obstacle courses, some zip lines which start from about 16ft up in the air, a 24-ft climbing wall, and a petting zoo and hiking/mountain biking trails. And electric scooters! All of this comes with a single entry fee, or you can pay a little extra a la carte for paint ball target practice or fat tire bikes. Or bring your own Mountain Bike for a 4 mile stretch through the woods.

My three kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves (K through upper middle school), and I've added this to my very short list of go-to activities which will excite and thrill every age in our family.

This place is so much fun! My daughter and I went on a weekday so there weren't a lot of other patrons around, making it impossible to enjoy some of the activities like human foosball. But that didn't stop us from enjoying everything else! Even when we were the only people there, the staff kept rotating through activities like the petting zoo and zip lines, both of which were huge hits with my 6 year old. We paid extra for the paintball experience, which was a little pricy for my tastes but definitely a fun time for both of us.

My mom came to see us just before we left and noticed that several new things had recently been added and said that it is common for them to add more stuff each time she's there with her other grandkids. This place is awesome! We had a birthday party here for an 8 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. Emily was absolutely wonderful to work with. The kids had a blast and all the staff were great. We were really impressed with how clean and well kept everything was. We had a range of kids from 4-10 and there were a ton of things for all of them to do. They even put a safety harness on the smaller ones so that they could ride the larger zip lines too. I don’t think we could have picked a better place to host a party for our group.
