very fun for dogs and humans if you go when it’s less busy. the water has some sort of flora that’s active at certain times of the year which has caused my dog to break out in hot spots, so be careful around the water! the trails have some holes in the ground so please ground so please watch your step. sometimes, poop doesn’t get scooped which is kinda gross. there’s a mix of responsible and careless dog owners, some owners take action if their dog is tormenting my dog without me needing to ask, while others will let their dog torment my dog relentlessly and still do nothing about it. bring food for you or your dog with caution, or dogs will “discover” you. definitely put any food in a ziploc bag, that hides the smell when it’s shut and keeps the dogs away!

Drive was beautiful to get here. Lots of little farms stand on the way there and back so make sure you stop by and support! Parking was really good with probably 15-20 spots available (maybe more if people parked tight). Dog friendly with free bags if you forget yours but don't be a jerk and not bring them for that reason. Lots of trails with other parks that link up to this one so you could spend a while hiking. A couple fields that seemed maintained. Lots of people and dogs were there when we went on a Saturday (11am ish). Our dog is e collar trained and is very good off leash so it is off leash friendly but given kids come here, be ready to leash up quickly to be respectful.

You could spend a couple of hours exploring here. I parked in the very small Bare Hill Wildlife Sanctuary parking lot on Bolton Road instead of the main one on Flanagan Rd. Trails here connect with the Bower Springs area. Very pretty and peaceful in the Bare Hill area. Busier when we reached Bower Springs proper, and most dogs are not on leashes. If you have a nervous pup, consider entering at the Bolton Road trail and staying in this area. It's much quieter, and there's plenty of land, in the woods and through lovely rolling fields, to go for a great walk in any season.

I only came here to park so I can have a smoke but as from what I had noticed at that location for a trail that’s pretty cool. That is a 24 hour park walk on your own risk. I believe the town should invest on making their parking lot guard rail that’s made out of wood to be refurbished. other than that, it look like a good location to walk have not yet walked the trail yet but probably will soon if not in the spring I give it five star rating because how the area is and where it’s located. It’s actually really really cool because it’s like in the sticks….. this message is to whoever walks the trails walk on your own risk at night time after hours if you go after hours, be very prepared for interactions with wildlife carry a firearm of some sort a airsoft with a high capacity or a little firearm if licensed in other words carry some sort of defense after hours, of course try to prevent from her in the animal or it hurting you by walking...
