Fort Sam Museum Auxiliary — Attraction in Haskell

When I first started touring museums, I was always looking for the “big ones”. Museums that were in the large areas and had big collections. But as I went from place to place, I realized that the small museums within small towns / cities are just as worth it as any other.

This small museum had a mixture of historic cars, historic military Jeeps, trucks and weapons. The staff member I met while there was extremely nice and very welcoming.

If you like military vehicles, classic / historic cars, and like historic buildings (this one is both an old aircraft hangar and Ford dealership) this is the place for you.

Small, but...

So many cool cars. Military vehicles, mustangs, old model Ts. This place is really neat. Lots of windows so it doesn't have to be open to enjoy it. Easy to look at from outside. Definitely glad...
