Srybny Farmstand and Greenhouses — Attraction in Haverhill

I went out to my usual Mother's Day morning place to buy a hanging plant for my wife. To my shock the place was closed until 9. I then remembered Srybny Farms on Hilldale. I decided to take a ride over and to my surprise they were open at 7:30. I went in to see some of the most beautiful flowering hanging baskets that I had ever seen. The people that were there working we're helpful, happy and friendly. I figured with the quality and size of their offerings that I would have to pay through the nose. I was wrong, the plant that I purchased was about the same price as the one I bought last year elsewhere. The difference is that last year's was about 1/2 the size. A few weeks ago we made our first visit of the season. As expected, their hanging baskets were beautiful and the produce was amazing.

We ended up getting a head of romaine lettuce, a quarter watermelon, and a few ears of their Butter & Sugar corn. We made corn on the cob, which was amazing in its own right. The watermelon was a tad pricey, however, it was hands down the best watermelon we have had all year. In fact, I recall us finishing it that same afternoon.
