Went here on Sunday around 4pm. Decided to try a flight of both the sweet and the dry. All of the wine was pretty terrible, especially the dry. No flavor at all in the dry, and the sweets were very strange flavors. I was curious why all of the dry wine were blends and when I questioned the younger girl working the counter, she said she didn't know why, it was just "artist's choice". While I understand the concept, a straight Cab would have been nice. The women working here are not very pleasant, nor do they tell you anything AT ALL about the wines and how they are fermented, aged, or bottled. If the owner is an "artist", why do you tell me absolutely nothing about him/them? I knew nothing about the place when I got there, and nothing when I left. We were in town for the day, but certainly don't make this a special trip, you will be very disappointed, especially if you prefer true wine tastings from knowledgeable staff. You won't find that here. Unfortunately, this place is yet another example of someone just trying to make money by pushing flights and sending you on your way, instead of providing true customer service. Then they charge over $20 a bottle for terrible...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE!!! This was by far the WORST experience. I wish I could tell you more about the winery itself but unfortunately i was greeted with "you here for a tasting?" I said yes "sweet or dry?" that's literally all that was spoken to us. We sat ourselves not knowing options of where we could sit and immediately given a glass, some rambling of what kind of wine it was, a very small pour and then on to the next with no other conversation. We asked for the cheese offering and was given a block of cheese still wrapped in plastic, a box of un-opened crackers, a plastic knife and paper plates. Never have a been to an establishment where the question isn't "Have you been here before?" I learned more about the wine from over hearing others talk to customers. Maybe Michelle was having a bad day but she was so non engaging it took us 20 minutes to try the wines and leave. NOW if you'd like a WONDERFUL wine tasting experience, go to the The Vineyard Wine Bar and see Angie. She was amazing and literally turned our day around. Thanks Angie for being the experience we...
Read moreWe recently held a private celebration of life event at Mt. Felix Winery, and it was everything we hoped it would be — beautiful, peaceful, and filled with love. The setting was perfect, but what truly made the experience exceptional was Mary.
From our first conversation, Mary communicated clearly, kindly, and consistently. She made the planning process easy during a difficult time and was always just a phone call or message away. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel less like customers and more like longtime family friends.
Mary went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly and truly reflected what we envisioned. She helped us take care of every detail with heart and grace, which allowed us to focus on honoring our loved one.
The wine was fantastic and enjoyed by all our guests, and the rest of the Mt. Felix team was friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire event.
We are so grateful to Mary and the whole team. If you’re looking for a place to host a meaningful event, this is it....
