This is s beautiful parking area and great for fishing. This is not a beach to take the family as there is no sand. There are a lot of large rocks. There are no grills, pavilions, or bathrooms (including portable-potties) in this park. There is a small pier to fish from. They do not allow overnight parking and the sheriffs office was extremely polite in letting us know! Typically, the park is open from 6am to 6pm.

had a few hours to kill near the airport so stopped by here to try my luck in Hawaiian fishing. there's a fishing dock (even though Google says it's closed) and there's also a short jetty you can fish off of. Didn't know what i was doing but got a lot of bites and managed to catch this beautiful fish. had orange and green color with buck teeth. it was cute so I promptly threw it back into the ocean.

Drive slow. On the whole road. 25 mph. Enter end parking lot SLOW or you will hit a chick or a cat/kitten .Many feral cats trying to survive here. No restrooms or shelter or tables or fresh water - for those of you backpacking down from the airport . It's a homeless area and local fishing spot drug pickup spot. not a state recreational area .

Everyone's favorite lunch spot! With luck you can see a turtle. With South winds you might even see a plane landing, if not, then taking off. The tourist vans tend to park on the North side, so I usually park just South of the signs in the picture unless I feel like "Does the water go all the way around the island?" type questions :)

Its an old pier on a cliff. Very windy but a great place to stop and watch the waves crashing. People were fishing off the pier. We saw some manta rays swiming which was super cool. There is a newer wooden pathway over the old pier. Lots of Kauai chickens wandering around. No beach here.

Cool place! When tide is low some tide pools little fish everywhere pretty cool. Beautiful blue water breaking all over the place. Lots of people fishing of the pier. Good place to check out!! Saw a turtle was way cool first turtle I've seen in the wild.
