Beach 67 — Attraction in Hawaii

Small nude beach that has great swimming. View from the water is beautiful. All beach goers were naked and respectful. It had quite a few people on a Sunday afternoon but still very enjoyable.

The sand is mostly yellow and fine, but there’s a side with small lava rocks. There are spots for shade and for sunbathing too.

Google maps will direct you, but last stretch of route is unpaved and rocky.

You can see people at Beach 69 at a far distance, but didn’t feel invasive.

Definitely worth a visit to this clothing optional beach.

My favorite beach in Hawaii Island. Very clean, natural and protected from the wind with lot of shade and black and white sand. Quite small, maybe 200 feet long, but plenty of room for everyone. Usually a very nice mix of friendly regular people, mostly local couples, but love to go by myself when my partner has to work. Good for swimming and snorkeling. Low surf, clear and clean water. This is such a beautiful spot. If you look along the coastline there's some great snorkeling locations. Except when I visited, I was horrified to see so many naked old men. I'm not sure if this is a certified nudist beach or if it's just been claimed by them. So unfortunately I didn't get to stay and actually snorkel in the area. I was pretty disappointed.
