What blows my mind is that at the time of writing this has a 4.1 star rating. I understand that some people feel a kinship or a nostalgia that everything from their childhood is amazing, but it's not always the case. Reviewing this completely subjectively the beach isn't up to par to compete with any of the others on island unless you go here for the light surf. Essentially this place is a homeless encampment with a nice view. If I were to guess I would say there are about 6 or 7 hundred pounds of trash in differing degrees of decomp littered around the area, either in trash bags or just floating around on the ground. Other than that, It's just not--- not a family beach, not clean and land areas are Not beautiful. Not sure why someone would lead you to believe this. See pictures for yourself. Travelers can enjoy plenty of the other beaches that would be more suitable. I am not even sure why they are building houses nearby... not a good location and probably...
