This is a wonderful gallery. The gallery features the work of master printmaker Horoki Morinoue who is renowned for his beautiful mokuhanga wood block prints. On first Friday's it is not uncommon to be able to watch Hiroki kneeling on the floor as he makes the traditional Japanese style water based prints. He hand rubs each print with a baren. Multiple layers of color are added each one using a separate hand carved wood block. It's quite impressive.
