a review from @amom2kidsandapark This park offers so much for the family! Two play structures, a basketball court, bathrooms, huge grassy area, picnic set up, amphitheater with fire pit, trails, wild animals, and neat trees. The playground has two structures. One is smaller and nearly the exact same as the small structure with slide, race track (dont forget your hotwheels!), activities, steps, climbing ladder, and tunnel and a small pipe to send objects from the structure to the ground. The larger structure is super cool! Although it only has one slide it has lots of fun ways to enter including a rock wall, a rope ladder, a rope tube plus a couple more fun aspects you don’t see at many parks. The swing set offers the standard swing and bucket swing plus a really awesome circular rope swing. The playground also has a ride on toy and a super spinner. After the playground we ventured up the big grassy hill and saw plenty of picnic bench areas, some single benches, some gopher holes, a deer, some mud, pine cones, and birds. At the top we went right down the dirt path and discovered the amphitheater! Keep walking and there are a few more picnic areas (were totally coming back with lunch and dad some weekend!). I checked out the trail map and it looks like these trails can lead all the way to Memorial park!  (Which I will probably never do with kids because it looks like a LOOONNGGGGG trail. The little loop around the park was good enough for us! There is parking and there is a bathroom. Look out for the giant turkey that roams the neighborhood!

Great hidden gem in the Hayward hills. I only knew it was there because I spent my childhood there hanging out in the giant treehouse overlooking the basketball courts and building forts down in the creek. Ah great memories there. Oh yeah... Used to bring my dog here to play frisbee.

Very nice park. Quite spacious, nice lawns, a play structure , b ball court and, and a trail that goes around the park and intersects with the Hayward plunge trail.

Big park with lots of huge open lawn. Well maintained. Has a playground, basketball court, bathrooms, and shaded picnic areas with coal barbecues. You can also reserve the larger picnic areas in advance if you're planning for a large group. Down one trail there's another field with an ampitheater that's somewhat separated from the main part of the park. There's also easy access to the Greenbelt hiking trails that branch off from the park and go down into the ravine and along the creek. Dogs are welcome on leash and waste bags are provided at the entrances...

What a beautiful little park! I had no idea this was there. Basket ball courts near parking lot along with restrooms. Large grassy area that has views over the bay and lools like a good place to fly a kite when its windy. Wide but somewhat steep trails down into the ravine with lots of picnic spots. Some of them even have water. Several trail access points from different area...
